week 1 in MUIC...

hey ya... has been trying VERY VERY HARD TO write this blog... This should have come in last week ( as i told myself to have at least 1 blog per week... ) but yeah.. thing happens.. hehehee... so here we are.. lets get back to the topic of the day, shall we?? ^^

12.09.2011 : yeah.. u're right .. we arrived at Baan Suan Private apartment around 5pm... ( yeah.. thanks to the flight delay just because of Airasia fantastic service for checking the boarding pass 3 BLOODY TIMES and delayed for 1 hour and 15 minutes =.=) anyway.. lets check out our room though...

Yeah.. nice toilet ... we have our own bathroom

 Yeah yeah.. that's right .. it's a fridge.. u will never find that in UM.. lol ...

Yesh... after the packing etc... we clean ourself, and we walk to a shop just beside the apartment where we stayed.. As we don't know thai.. so we have been "errr. this?? u have ?? ya?? no ?! ..." yeah.. and finally a plate of Thai fried rice( with pork.. sorry lahar.. non-halal.. lol ) is BORN *wink wink*

13.09.2011: yes.. we DO have an air-cond.. but we're Malaysian.. >.< and students in Malaysia are very poor.. and therefore we need a fan... 

We have been lucky enough to have a kind hearted Manager, Kurnser...to bring us to the market to get us a fan.. and tada~~~ 

a standing fan which cost us RM70 only *proud* ... (it's cheap .. ^^ )

after the shopping, we went for breakfast too.. I had this thai noodle, which taste really like chinese style noodle soup ( sorry, no pic ><) and finally.. i bought a packet of MANGO RICE (pls refer to attachment below.. /gg)

14.09.2011: We didn't do a lot of stuff on this day.. just walking around the shops nearby to our apartment and get some groceries though... 

15.09.2011: yeah.. ORIENTATION !! We got up like 7++ in the morning to get ready and up we go to MUIC for the orientation.. during the journey.. I met another Malaysian gal from ipoh.. Ee Voone.. and a few Indonesian students.. where they are really great and nice.. ^^ 

During the orientation, the facilitator from international relation office shared with us a lot of stuff, which includes cultural part, place of interest and also academic related info with us.. Apparently, I'm really impressed with the way they plan their activities and method of conducting the whole event. Things has been running just exactly the same as what is being schedule, preparation work are properly done, whereby they have forecasted problem that would be faced by us, the international students and.. the best it.. they can really solve the problem for us with such a pleasant manner and things are done really quickly.. Love the way how effective they can be... 

16.09.2011: Today, the MUIC international relation office (IRO) staffs had brought us to the Rose Garden for visiting purpose. In there, we are exposed to the Thai's culture via performance and exhibition. The best part of it?? of course FOOOOOODDDDD!!!! hehehehe... we had an international buffet feast, serving food from eastern to western.. the cost is approximately 450 bath per person.. and the best it.. MUIC is paying for it.. in fact, they paid for EVERYTHING ^^.. I suppose they have spend at least 1000 baht per person for that particular visit ( the garden need entry fee though :D  ) Here are some picture that I manage to took via SAMSUNG STAR WIFI 3.2 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA.. *im proud of it.. hehehee... *

It took us for almost a whole day in Rose Garden...

in the night ... I went to party a bit with Ee Voon and other exchange students from USA and Swiss in Khao San road.. ( sorry .. no pic cos to bz partying and forget abt pic.. lol )

17.09.2011: On this pleasant day... again our most kind hearted Kurnser brought Cheeteng, Ee Voon and me  myself to the local floating market.. it has been really fun and PLENTY of FOOD ( i'm really really sorry cos i really really forget to snap any picture of it. it's just too tasty ><) ... hahaha... and in the late evening, we headed down to Yaowarat (chinatown).. urm.. well .. nothing much there except from a lot of people there were having the same ancestors where my ancestors came from too.. but not many of them able to speak our mother tongue... what a waaste... Ee Voon has been going around telling the Chinese Thai "learn mandarin.. don't forget your ancestors and mother tongue.. " lol...

Since nothing much there, we headed back to Khaosan Road , and there is where SHOPPING OCCURS ~~ lol.. we spend a lot here as well.. and the only thing which i find its unique is this

Yup.. we entered the class, and surprisingly... the manner and intonation of the HRM lecturer we so so alike with Ms Sharmila.. .. * miss her so so much >< *

It has been a really nice class though... it's even better when Peng Peng were there to go though all the stuff with me together...awh.. love her so much.. I wouldn't live on in Thailand without her.. ( of course still love my darling lar.. back from Europe jo fast fast come bangkok find me kha...chai mai... lol~~~)

This gonna be a long long entry.. There are still couple of days more before I'm leaving to thai.. there's definitely a list of ppl which I can't bear of due to this trip..

First.. of course my family lar.. That means I can't have my mum to wash my laundry (sob sob.. ), to have my dad to give me opinion on tough decision, to have my sister to yell at (yeah.. she's gonna say .. FINALLY and relieved >.< )...

Next.. of course is my baybee lar.. although he's still currently locating in UK 'siau yau kuai huo' >< but for sure he's gonna miss me for the next couple of months after he came back from UK.. heheheh...

Well.. next gonna be my bunch of friends.. let me list you all down 1 by 1.. ( I didn't rank based on preference yar... ) =p

1. The mei mei family.. YEAH.. gonna miss u all soo much (lifong, rocky, yingchao, pui yoong, hooi ling, seechia, bee chuin, aimin).. I didn't miss out anyone rite?? >< hahaha.. miss the karaoke session, makan session, snatch tutorial session, copy assignmnet session.. help to sign lecture class session and many many more.. >< gonna miss u all sooo sooo much ><

2. My secondary school bff. yea.. that's you.. Steph and Zhe ying esp.. both of u have been with me during my ups and downs.. for sure u'll be in My BFF list like FOREVER.. (nah.. dun try to escape ar.. =p)

3. My other uni's fren... hahaha.. this is too long to list down cos I have so many uni's fren which fall under this category.. such as my MASCian..my acc nite 2009 members (esp the *shake shake* fella hahaha..), my CP members..  my seniors... my juniors.. my BODs... yea.. For sure gonna miss u all too ^^

4. Operasi Babi gang !! yeassshhh.. kamulah babi-babi sekalian.. hahaha.. =p (no offences yar.. we name ourself operasi babi cos this gang ussed to come Klang and 'hut' Bak Kut Teh.. so we called ourself operasi Babi gang.. of course.. we do have a memorable operasi nyonya (melaka) as well.. hehehe.. The gang of course consist of Chin Yui Chai , Amy Fong, Lai Pooi Mun, Zoe Tay and some ad-hod character such as Stef and Ah Bao(Gian Soon Bao lahar.. hahaha).. gonna miss u all too. ( well.. tolong plan operasi penang pula yar... =p)

5. Not forgetting the KPMG Gangs !! hhehehe.. this got 2 big gang, 1st is the TP team=p.. ( everyone in TP is included lahar.. ).. miss the makan makan.. ccm-ccm.. keying in financials, and again MAKAAN!!! hehehehe.. miss the happy moment with u all ^^  next is the HOKIEN MEE GANG (siapa?? siapa lagi kalau bukan Gui Sieu Peng<< tak salah ho?? hahaha.. , Patrick Tan(yea you!!! lol) , Adele my dear and Kean leng; "her's "dear lol... Adeline Tay... oh ya.. Elyse also.. hahaha.. gonna miss de moment where we heard someone shouted "ta hui jiang hua leh !!!" hahahaha... oh ya.. not forgetting the KELISA gang also.. y kelisa? cos they always sit my car lepak sini lepak sana.. most frequently go place is KPMG la of course.. =p ( adeline, linda, chiu tsia, eng-eng, adele, yulin.. and .. er... i think tat's all rite?? hehehhee...

6. Okay.. next would be de farmhouse gang.. let me welcome the POP: Brendan Yap, POC: Chris Tan and of course POD: Melody Teoh =p.. wanna know what does mean?? u will never know.. hahhaha.. =p ( for sure gonna miss u guys too ^^ )

7. Okay.. this would be the category lain-lain (=p.. hahaha.. to many to list u all down).. this would be all my fren who had appeared in my life and being kind too me.. ( of course la, if u're being nasty to me u would not fall under the fren category ok!!! ) u have definitely appeared in my mind b4.. just that I didnt manage to list u all down.. ^^


 It has been quite bothering me recently as trying to recall who else which I have not met before I leave to Thailand.. no worries.. I gonna miss u all soo soo much and definitely will catch up with you all once I come back from Bangkok..

Tyre Puncture

Just now my car tyre puncture.. So, i open my bonnet, took out my tyre, changed it... wow.. superb isn't it ?? =p

nah.. I didn't change it, but there's another person who helped me with it. Really very kind of him to help me with it ^^

Well.. Best part of all is that I did not actually got tense up cos of the puncture... Rather I'm kinda steady and thought that I may actually change it myself.. lol but unfortunately.. I really and seriously didn't know the method of changing it.. hehehe..

So, there's 1 kind soul, indeed kind enough to change the tyre for me.. hehehe...

Vacation...

Today.. hmmm.. nothing special actually .. Nothing much for me to do today, so decided to have a piece of entry. Perhaps later will go ahead and clean my room.. lol.. 


I was looking through my facebook earlier, and found that lots of my friend are grabbing this whole week of long holiday for a vacation.. Oh well.. yeah.. kinda envy of course.. T___T  However, after having a deeper though, there's definitely a reason why they can afford to have that.. cos.. 


THEY ARE EARNING THEIR OWN MONEY !! 


Yeap.. i mean, they have started to work on their career, having a stable job and have a little extra money for them to GO TRAVEL ... Wuhoo.. how i wish i would have done that as well.. 


Erm.. well.. so for me to have that, I would wait for another 2 years, upon my graduation, for me to get a decent job, building up my career and bla bla bla~ ~ ~ =p


Well, there's a couple of place that I would definitely wanan visit in my life... 


JAPAN!!!yeah.. its a must for me to go there.. ^^

2nd blog post

Hahaha.. today my dearest was saying, ' why your blog remains the same after so long?? lol.. this indicated that I need a new pcs of blog to keep my blogging mode on .. *nood head * hehehehehe...

oh well.. it has been almost a week since my last day from KPMG.. kinda reluctant to pack stuff to Thailand yet.. cos dunno where to start.. >.<

Wonder why, I have been worry on lots of stuff, esp the condition there in Thailand, as what exactly that I'm going to encounter there with my other mate, Kimmy. Hopefully everything will be fine..

Last week was my last week in KPMG. Me and another colleague of mine, Mei Sern had bought a mille crepe from Humble Beginning for my seniors as a token of appreciation. A day before our last day, we had also prepared some cards, enclosed with personal messages to each respective seniors, as a token of appreciation to them. Although we had spend quite a lot (RM100++ each person, mind u !!) but we had a lot of fun thorough the process.. really enjoyed it .. After all, they are the best seniors that I ever had and they definitely deserve it ^^ hehehe...

Today went for a movie session with my family. We wanted to watch the movie The fortune buddies, ended up we watched Treasure Hunt ( noob movie indeed)... Thanks to my sister who get us wrong movie ticket ><.  awh....

Okay, tomorrow is Friday. I think i better start packing from now on .. yeah .. better start  (has been saying that for almost a week .. *eyes rolling * )

Why DUCK-A-Mel ??

Well, after so many times of attempts trying to blog, here I’m back again! Hopefully I’m persistent enough to maintain it this time round. Haahahaha :D

Oh well, I bet the 1^st question that pops into your mind would be “why would you wanna start blogging when everybody else are kinda like not doing it anymore ??” Funny huh.. oh well~~ few reasons contributed to my act:

1.       Read a blog recently and find that blogging c o u l d  b e  d a m m  c o o l  ! ! ! hehehehe…

2.       Leaving to Thailand very soon, it will be great if I would have an avenue for me to share my experience with everyone else (oh yeah .. sounded like making myself a freaking good adviser etc =p  )

3.       Need to get myself attached to something, as I do find that I don’t have any hobby during my free hour (what a boring person rite? Hehehhee… )

Therefore, here is how I start it again (y again? Cos I tried writing like for at least 3 times but ended with only single entries.. lol ..

Okay.. next thing that you might be interested would be why would I name by blog as Duck-A-Mel?? For this I would need to give credit to one of my senior naming me as duck. Whenever he see me he will scream “duuuuuuccccckkkkkkk”… He will be yelling at me with the word no matter where he see me, be in on the phone, during lectures or even in restaurants -.- yeah .. funny rite.. lol

So this comes to my mind by naming it Duck-A-Mel.  (*blink blink * hehehe.. )

How long will this blog last?? Urm .. oh well.. yeah.. need some objective to make it last rite?? (nyek nyek nyek… ) okay.. Let’s set a goal here.. urm ..say at least 6 mths during my trip to Thailand?? Hehehe.. ok.. that shall be my goal then.
